A warm and rustic atmosphere was created inside the Silver Saddle Steakhouse and Tapadera Lounge. In keeping with old southwest tradition, a custom steel and brick mesquite wood grill and pit were built. An antique buggy wheel with welded horseshoes attached serve to raise the cooking grill to appropriate levels above the smoky mesquite wood fire.

Burning Arizona’s native mesquite wood lends an unmatched smoke flavor to the food, plus this amazing wood, while burning, can produce temperatures which can exceed 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, so we suggest that no one stand too close to our open fire.

Rib eye. Cooked over open wood fire. Served on sizzling cast iron plate.  Well, that's my review right there.

It was done so perfectly, looked so good, and tasted so great I don't even remember if there were forks or napkins, to be honest.
